Farm Share Account Primer
This blog post is for farm share members specifically. It will probably be boring and meaningless for the rest of you, but feel free to read on if you’re curious :).
Members: for your general reference, I want to go over a few important details regarding your accounts and how to navigate the website.
1.) Access your account information — You may have never noticed the button next to your name while shopping. This is the place you go to find all of your ordering history, change your pickup location, and add funds to your account.
2.) Add items to your current order — forgot to get eggs? No problem. You can go back and add items to your order as long as you do so at least 24 hours in advance of your pick-up date. However, do not take anything out of your cart when you’re adding items (unless you don’t want them). The way the system works, your cart is “open” until after the date of your pick-up, so we won’t have a record of anything you remove, and it probably won’t get packed.
3.) Change your pick-up location — when you signed up you selected one of three pick-up days (Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday). In general it’s best for us if you stick to this schedule. However, we do want you to have maximum flexibility, and we know schedules and routines can change, so you can easily change your pick-up location from your account page by clicking the “change” button next to your location. However, there are two things to note:
You must change your pick-up location BEFORE you place your order.
You must order at least 24 hours in advance of your new pick-up location (order by Sunday night for Tuesday pick-up, etc).
4.) Add credit to your account — from your account page you can add funds and see your order history. You can add credit through paypal in increments of $100 or $300 from the “manage payments” tab. You can also send a check or swipe your credit card for any amount with us directly at the farm stands.
